My name is Jill Oglesbee and I have been an artist and a teacher for my entire career. I earned a BA in art from Ohio Northern University, a master’s degree (gifted education) from Bowling Green State University, a master’s degree from Ashland University (curriculum) and completed PhD course work at The Ohio State.
I have been a teacher for 30 years as well as an artist. As an artist, I have transformed spaces for major hotels, restaurants, corporations, universities, airbnbs, parade of homes and countless homes. As a teacher, I have taught in public schools and throughout my career, have had the pleasure of teaching at the elementary, middle school and high school levels…BUT WAIT! My most exciting teaching experience, THE SIP AND PAINT!
In this time of social disconnect, merely coexisting alongside each other, I believe there is a serious need for reconnection. It is beyond fun to come together to talk, and laugh, and play with friends, family, spouses, and coworkers. Every time I teach a class, I watch my students leave with awesome masterpieces and memories to priceless to frame!
